Katrina: New Orleans favorite hurricane ho

falluja

Dat big bitch Katrina has just gone medieval on New Orleans and I didn't even bother writing anything about it. It's not that I don't wanna but just that I didn't even know until this morning when my Political Science professor talked about it before I fell asleep on my desk.

So it's all over the news now, huh? What up? Louisiana aka the Big-Red-Conservative-Cracka-ass-cracka-anti-government state is begging Washington to send them money because there is water up and down every street. First of all and to plagiarize my teacher, I would say that it is phucking ironic that liberal tax payers in liberal states have to pay taxes so a bunch of redneck can reinject that same money (throught the mafia-run construction business) to build their houses back. I don't know if I should have laughed out loud or cryed when I heard that some rethuglicans who probably drank too much Hatorade were shooting at the rescue helicopters yelling their two reasons for that:
1/ Iman american, iman american, ive the raiyght too bear guns, it's my constitutional raiyght.
2/ The government shouldn't be involved in State issues because that would cause communism

What else? The whole city is messed up and chingasos of people have died, but it's not like we lost a cancer cure right? Half of the state population has as much IQ as an oyster while the other half think that Bush is doing an incredible job. I even heard that those nice New Orleans samaritans have started to rob abandoned houses and stores, just like daddy. Is it me or every time you see a looter it's the same black guy with that same cap running out of the same store. The media got it like it was like an enormous mob so why is it always the same images that are shown. Maybe those tall Israelis at Fox News don't want to show their peers devalising stores like a crackhead would do. It's one of those moments that we wish that Wal Mart didn't sell guns 'cuz guess what, those looters won't think twice about taking them.

Sure it's too bad that one of the baddest city for partying in the derrty souf was just blewn away (and it's even badder that I haven't gone there yet) but shit this is not my primary issue right now. I am going to tell you what's the real issue, it's the fucking 3 DOLLAR A GALLON GAS PRICES, this shyt is ridiculous!!!

PS:
Oh by the way, since I couldn't find a decent picture of New Orleans under dat big bitch Katrina I looked up for something similar and found that pic of a battle scene in Irak.

Malaysian Fashion Show

modeaziat01.jpg
Here are a couple pictures from a fashion show in Malaysia.  modeaziat02.jpg
The show took place in the Prangin Mall of Kuala Lumpur and had communication for theme.
modeaziat04.jpg
modeaziat05.jpgIt gives a taste of the haute-couture of the region. It's market is exploding in South-East Asia.
Personally, I am loving it. It's a style clearly less cluttered than what Europeans designers have done lately while still representing its Asian roots. Add to that, the models are drop dead gorgeous...

The other day I was chillin' in a Manhattan upscale club when some black dude walked up to me. He introduced himself as Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and told me he was a business man. He wanted me to review on my website a CD he was producing and gave me this Blue Eyes meets Bed Stuy stuff. I told him I didn't know who the fuck he was and that I had never heard of anyone mixing Frank Sinatra's music with The Notorious B.I.G.'s vocals... Anyway, it was a cool concept and he gave the CD for free so why not?

I was awaiting some sort of crappy like Dangermouse's The Grey Album (That sampled the beats from The Beatles with the rap of Jay-Z) but surprisingly DJ Cappel & Smitty made an incredible job at matchmaking the unlikely kings of music. You gotta listen this CD just to have the feel of how cool that is.

In my opinion, The Notorious B.I.G. is, among Nas & Rakim, one of the greatest MC that New York has ever witness. Unfortunately, the quality of the music used on his cds varied greatly from badass to plain horrible, depending on who P. Diddy chose to plagiarize. DJ Cappel & Smitty were probably tired of this bullshit and decided to give a second youth to the late Biggie. Using the beautiful melodies produced by Frank Sinatra and using his voice for the chorus, they remastered the classic gems drop by Biggie. The DJs did a great job at matching Biggie's voice with Sinatra's melodies, making it flows so naturally. And let me tell you what, it works and it's way better than the original version!

I don't know what else to tell you other than that it's a great album. It's great that sometimes original concepts don't end up crashing into the trash can and I warmly advise you to get a copy of this one.

Bonus: Check out DJ Cappel & Smitty's website. They have mp3s and snippets from this CD.

Prices at the entrance is of 20 Swiss Francs. Inside the bottle of Vodka costs 500.- while a champagne 1300.-. Living the life of the young and rich...

Hip Hop News: Beef Nas vs 50 Cent + "Don't Body Yaself" lyrics

nas.jpg VS 50 Cent

Nas just came out with a diss track "Don't Body Yaself" to answer 50 Cent's Piggy Bank (That appeared on The Massacre). On Piggy Bank, 50 Cent made fun of Nas's relationship with the R'n'B singer Kelis. Nas said that he was really disappointed with this old time homeboy that couldn't hold all the recently acquired fame without bitching at everyone else. Since The Massacre didn't do that good in the charts, Nas said that 50 Cent's strategy of getting a war with every rapper in NYC is his sole mean to sell the remaining records. So after an angry Fat Joe (Fuck 50, My Fo-Fo), a sarcastic Jadakiss (I'm an animal") Nas provide us with a dark song full of threats.

Lyrically speaking, it's good. It cruelly lacks punchlines though. It's too bad that Nas concentrated his effort to brag about himself instead of destroying the already weak 50 Cent. His flow is tight and the beat is aight, but no mas. It's a diss track that could easily be forgotten but since this war between 50 Cent and the rest of the Hip Hop world is still growing, it would be stupid not to listen to it at least once.

Later on, Nas dropped that the last person who dissed him (Jay-Z) is now retired and making Heavy-Metal (Collision Course with Linkin Park) and R'n'B (Best of Both World 2 with R. Kelly) concerts.

What about you? What do you think of this beef between Nas & 50 Cent? Who is the king and who is the wanksta? For me it's clearly Nas who deserves the crown even though his latest work was kinda weak. In comparison, 50 Cent is just a lil' piece of shyt who should learn respect...

YOU CAN VOTE ON WHO MURDERED WHO ON THIS BEEF HERE.

Here are the lyrics of "Don't Body Yaself" so you can judge by yourself.
